Sorry i forgot to write for 2 days... ive been mega busy but ive done making and lots in my 2nd sketchbook with designs.... Have definately chosen the rugby scene for the brown waistcoat after much contemplation on what would best depict Cardiff and use a lot of Welsh symbols.
I have been looking at books from Central library on rugby and i also found a book of Welsh jokes that has drawings of funny Welsh scenes, such as the valleys, rugby etc... I have scanned the images and they are in my design sketchbook as they have given me lots of inspiration and more ideas but they are very sterotypical but very true! I have finished making my faces for the rugby crowd they look really good and have photographed the development.
Ive taken a break from making to write this but Im currently making the advertising boards that will use Welsh companies such as welsh cakes etc... and i am making them out of felt, i have started designing them and looking at the advertising for these boards and its the images from the welsh rugby book that have helped me choose what i will include. Have photographed and documented the development of these boards too. They look great im really pleased with the first 2. Ive done Braces bread and Clarks pies...both Welsh companies but are known nationally.
